Gaining more knowledge about the 4 Pillars of Defense in the Family Communication Framework, will help families have a better understanding of the tools and strategies they can implement and how it will improve communication.

  • There are a variety of options and strategies  available for families to implement. Parents that engage with their teenagers about the options will have better conversations in choosing the options that work best for their family.
  • Learning how these options can take some of the burden off the parents and help the teenager become more responsible in managing their usage.

As teenagers develop autonomy and safe healthy relationships with the guidance of their parents, applying the right communication tools and strategies becomes even more important.

Teenagers that learn and implement   develop technical life skills, build trust with their parents, and implement the 4 pillars of defense will have more positive peer relationships on and offline.
